An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join the team at Head Office.
Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager
Reports to: Director of Income Generation & Marketing
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 35 Hours a Week
Place of work: Hybrid - Home and Head Office
Closing date: Monday 21st October 2024, Interviews to be held Monday 28th October 2024
We aim to provide services and facilities that encourage autistic children and adults to live a rich and fulfilling life. We achieve this through our specialist co-educational school, residential and supported living, training, education and diagnostic services.
This is an exciting time to join the charity as we embark on an ambitious plan to grow our income, increase awareness of the organisation and the reach of our charitable and not for profit services.
The Role:
As Marketing & Communications Manager you will be integral to developing and communicating our brand and messages consistently internally and externally. You will lead on raising awareness, supporting income generation and evolve the profile of Autism Anglia and its work, whilst supporting the promotion of Autism Anglia services and projects. You will develop, implement and monitor marketing & communications strategies, leading and motivating staff and volunteers to achieve agreed targets and objectives.
- Lead, motivate and manage the marketing and communication team members and volunteers to ensure effective delivery of the strategic plan
- Implement a marketing plan for the organisation and individual marketing plans for all services and key income generating activities
- Increase awareness of Autism Anglia across East Anglia, engaging stakeholders and growing our database of supporters
- Build successful relationships with the media to maximise awareness of Autism Anglia
- Be the Autism Anglia brand guardian, working to ensure consistent implementation of brand guidelines across all communications
Applications are welcome from applicants who:
- Have Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) to a Grade A-C
- Marketing/communications qualification eg, CIM, CIP desirable but not essential
- Experience working within a communications/marketing environment
- Advanced written, communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and performance monitoring
